The Waco CC meets two nights per week. We meet on Tuesdays at the China Grill Buffet at I-35 and University Parks. We also meet every Thursday evening at the Jack-in-the-Box restaurant at I-35 and University Parks Drive (near Baylor). We play chess from 7 p.m. to about 10 p.m. though some diehard chess fans will close the place down.  Also, we have added a meeting day: 2nd Saturday of the Month at the Jack in the Box. The Waco CC is open to all and has no dues. There are about 40-50 serious chess players in Waco and of these, about 25 are members of the United States Chess Federation. There are usually 8-15 chess players at each meeting. So, bring a board, bring a clock, or just bring yourself. No matter what your preference is--bug, blitz, or a nice slow game--you'll find someone to play with. Hope to see you there! Waco CC members are encouragd to join our Yahoo group.  Click the button below!
